Seek The Kingdom!
Often we wonder how God is going to get things done, more specifically the things we ask for. We have sleepless nights trying to figure it all out. Let me help you. It’s really none of our business how God will get things done. We ask and plead for what we want and sometimes we get them and other times we find ourselves on the hunt for those things we think we want ourselves. We stress over getting things that we think are so important, but when it doesn’t happen we feel lost or dejected.
Let me ask you something. Of all the things that God didn’t give you, was any of it necessary? Think about it. You survived without whatever it was thus far. Is it all about prosperity? Your life may have taken a completely different turn, one you didn’t expect. So I ask again. Was it really necessary?
This morning I was reading:
But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33
Matthew tells us to seek God’s business and the things of God and what we need will be added on to us. There’s no need to worry. God’s got this!!! Get out of God’s way. If spend our focus on all the crap that He doesn’t want for us, we actually get it. Here’s the catch, it won’t be at all what we thought it would be. There are consequences to doing it on our own or doing it ahead of God.
My advice is to seek the Kingdom, do His Will, ask for what you want but leave the worrying up to God. Most-likely His plans are far better.
